Robert W. Twitchell. Jr.
President, CEO and Founder, Chairman of the Board

Bob is the founder of Dispersive Networks and provides the architectural vision for all products. Having served as CTO of two start-ups and as an engineering executive in both Nokia and Motorola, Bob brings more than twenty years of experience to Dispersive Networks. He holds 19 granted patents and over 30 pending patents in wireless, GPS, networking and location technology.

Most recently, Bob was CTO of TeraHop Networks where he architected the technical solution set for a wireless movable sensor networking company. Prior to TeraHop, Bob was at Nokia, where he served as Value Added Services Manager, CDMA Markets, and was responsible for strategy and implementation of location based services and where he oversaw the launch of several new products including a WAP software platform and the Nokia 9000 Communicator. Previous time was spent with Motorola Paging Infrastructure where Bob was responsible for the development of paging software that was deployed in Singapore, Tokyo, China, United Kingdom and Italy, and Harris Corporation (Electronic Warfare) where he worked on classified projects and designed the audio conferencing chip for the International Space Station. Bob has a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Master's Thesis involving DSP, Neural Networks and Voice Recognition.
