Technology

Dispersive Networks’ patent-pending technology has two key components.

The first part, which Dispersive Networks calls Virtual Dispersive Routing, shares (or virtualizes) the routing function across multiple computers in the network. Since this allows each computer to act as a router, congestion is offloaded from the over-utilized network routers and the robustness of the network is dramatically improved.

The second part, which Dispersive Networks calls Multiplexed Client / Server, enables network devices to communicate directly with other network devices also running that application. This improves the performance of both the server and client; in especially resource intense applications (such as Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games), the user experience is significantly enhanced.
