Gary's track record crosses business, the law and academics. In business and as an entrepreneur, Gary has served as the Chief Executive Officer, President and a member of Boards of Directors for numerous companies, including a pay-per-view entertainment company, the company which was the first to offer location based services on GPS enabled cell phones in the United States, and a variety of Internet marketing and media companies. As a private practice attorney, Gary was the managing partner of his law firm and received the “AV” peer review rating from Martindale Hubbell. His practice areas included intellectual property and software licensing, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities, commercial real estate and representation of various medical equipment manufacturers and health care provider groups. Gary has been a member of the State Bar of Georgia since 1980, with section memberships including Intellectual Property and Entertainment, International Law, Corporate and Banking, Computer Law and Real Property. Gary graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. At the University of Georgia School of Law, Gary received his Juris Doctor with Honors, and was an Editor of the International Law Review.
