Dispersive Gaming is taking the online gaming industry into the next century.

This is how current online gaming functions:

When communicating each player's move to the other online players, it takes time to travel from the player's computer, through the server, then back down to the other players. Thus, when Player One executes a move in the game (Figure one), it is then sent from Player One's computer, to the Gaming server; and the Gaming server then informs the 2nd player's computer, showing him what Player One executed, so that he can respond in an appropriate fashion. Depending on the move of Player One, Player Two then executes his move which is communicated back through the Gaming server, and then the Gaming server displays the 2nd player's move, to the 1st Player. Consequently, the speed of the game and the display of the graphics is limited by current technology as it passes through the Gaming server. This has been a consistent problem in the gaming industry because it creates what is referred to as a Time-lag. This Time-lag has become an impediment to developing faster games with higher resolution graphics.

The Future of Online Gaming with Dispersive Technology:

Dispersive Technology revolutionizes the online gaming industry. Instead of each player's executed move being transferred back and forth through the Online Gaming server, as illustrated above, each player's move is now transferred directly to the other player's computer (as illustrated below), eliminating most of the traffic traveling back and forth through the Gaming Server. Having two or more computers communicating directly with each other is called "Peer to Peer" networking. This new technology greatly decreases the "Time-Lag" that currently exists, and secures the connection between the computers. This enables Game developers to create games with quicker response times, utilizing graphics at higher resolutions. In addition, eliminating so much traffic from the gaming company's servers could save them millions of dollars, by greatly decreasing the number of servers they need to run the online game. The gaming servers and their maintenance are the gaming companies' largest expense.

Online games will have the ability to dramatically increase the data transfer rate between the players' computers, thus giving the gaming developers greater latitude when designing new games. Dispersive Gaming's technology has the ability to revolutionize the online gaming industry.
